What's up people??
Guess what I've been up to lately?
Puzzles! And not those silly baby puzzles where you put one piece in, real puzzles with lots of pieces.
My favorite is my new Winnie the Pooh puzzle I got last week. I like to put it together over and over. Mommy set up the camera to watch me put it together. The video is a little long (and some parts are sped up- no, I'm not really that fast!), but I think they're pretty impressive puzzle skills for a two-year-old. If you stick around till the end when Mommy gets a phone call and leaves me alone, it gets pretty good.
My second new interest is....dinosaurs! And luckily, I have a dinosaur puzzle! Here I am posing proudly with my dinosaur puzzle in my dinosaur pajamas.

And some other funny things I did this week:
-We were at the playground and there was an older boy in front of me in line for the slide. He said "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, blast off!" and went down the slide. I thought that was pretty cool, so when my turn came, I did my own countdown: "10, 8, 6, 4, 5, 8, 9, 10!"
-The window in my bedroom was open and I used my binoculars to look out onto the street. I told Mommy that I saw a Tyrannosaurus Rex outside the window!
-I went to Mommy's doctor appointment with her and while we were in the waiting room, I sneezed. I've been learning that I'm supposed to cover my nose, but this time I actually remembered and covered my sneeze. So I screamed to the whole waiting room "I DID IT!!" For some reason everyone thought that was funny.

Happy Valentine's Day!
It's Valentine's Day!
Even though my shirt shows my love for Mommy, I love Daddy too. Here's the card I made for him.
And here are the cookies Mommy and I made for him today (I took this picture myself!).
Daddy bought Mommy a cool balloon that sings a song when you tapped it. Since I love balloons and I love things that make noise, I thought it was the perfect combination!
It lasted about an hour...
Ah well, it was a good hour. Happy Valentine's Day!

Asheville
Last weekend we drove up to Asheville, NC to see Daddy's friends Bill and Katie (and their kids Delaney, Dan, and Mackenzie) and Uncle Kevin and Aunt Olivia.
Delaney is just my age and we had so much fun playing together. The weather was nice on Saturday and we played outside some. Here we are playing with sidewalk chalk.
Uncle Kevin drew a pretty complicated picture that I had to examine more closely.
Something upset me (who knows what) and I had to vent my feelings for a bit. These days I tend to get upset really quickly and most of the time I get over it quickly, too.
After sidewalk chalk, we brought out their fleet of cars to drive around.
The gas pump was probably the biggest hit of the day. I had to keep making sure the cars were filled. Here I am helping out Mackenzie...

Delaney and I had a ton of fun playing together. Here's a video of us playing "Hide and Seek" in her playroom. Who needs to find a different place to hide each time? We found one great spot and stuck with it.
We had a great time visiting with everyone in Asheville. Next time we visit, I'll have a little brother to show off!

Long Time, No See
Hi everyone!
Sorry it's been so long since my last post- things around here have been pretty tough lately. First, I got sick. Then Mommy got sick. So we were basically stuck in the house for a couple of weeks. On top of that, Daddy's been working long hours and the baby's making Mommy even more tired. So Mommy was about ready to pack me up in this box and send me to one of you guys!
This week we're back to normal, though. On Monday, we went on a tour of a preschool I might go to in the fall. Can you believe I'm old enough to be starting preschool?! I was so excited when I heard we were going to school, I said, "Mom, you stay home." After the tour, we went to my Gymboree class. I get to run and jump around a lot there, so I love it.
On Tuesday, Owen came over to play. I called Daddy on the phone to tell him what we were up to. I said "Share!" even though I wasn't really sharing all that well. Today we had a playdate with my friend Chase. And I really did share well with him! We played with his cars and trucks and bowling set.
Tomorrow, baby Brocklin is coming over to play and on Friday we're taking a quick trip up to Asheville for the weekend! I'll be sure to take lots of pictures to share with you.
