Pimpin' My Blog

You may have noticed the new colors and designs on my blog. I thought it was time to upgrade, so I got some help from Mommy. Here is a movie that I took all by myself! Hope you like the movie and the new look!

Summer 2009

Now that the summer is officially over, I thought I would take some time to reflect on what a great time I had! Here's a slideshow of how I spent my summer. Enjoy!

Sitting in Stuff

I like sitting in stuff.

In...
on...
under...

Even if I can barely fit.

Here are some pictures you've already seen, but I think they prove my point.

Uncle B and Aunt Elissha's Wedding

Hi everyone!

I've had a really exciting week! Last Monday, Grandma flew here to Atlanta and then on Tuesday, Grandma, Mommy and I drove to Virginia. Grandma sat with me and entertained me the whole time. I like to think I entertained her some, too.
We had a nice visit with Grandpa George and some of Mommy's friends. Here I am with my new friend, Baby Roxie.

Then, the big event was Uncle B and Aunt Elissha's wedding this weekend. On Friday, we went to the rehearsal dinner and I got to hang out with all of Daddy's family.

This is my cousin Mia. She lives in Arizona.

I really liked Mia- I gave her lots of hugs.

Grandpa Steve helped me meet some ladies outside the restaurant.

On Saturday, we got all dressed up for the big wedding. This is the only picture of my shirt all tucked in. I'm saying "Come on, let's go to the wedding already!"

Aunt Elissha and Uncle B got married at a beautiful botanical garden. Don't they look great? I didn't really see the ceremony because I was busy playing with Mia and all the cool flowers. Mommy was just happy that I was quiet!
Here we are at the reception.

Daddy and I both had cool ties.

Here's Grandma Joy and her grandchildren. I was very happy Grandma Joy could make the trip.

And here's the Park side of the family.

And then I discovered the dance floor!

Uncle Kevin and Aunt Olivia helped me breakdance. I danced with Grandma, too.

Here I am being quite the ladies' man with Mia's little sister, Riley. I might have to keep working on my moves.

After me and Mia, these guys were the next best dancers. They were dressed like the guys from the movie "Dumb and Dumber". They even had top hats and canes. After all that excitement, I headed back to the hotel. I set the alarm...
...and laid down for a well-deserved rest.

I had so much fun this past week, and really enjoyed seeing everybody. Congratulations Aunt Elissha and Uncle B!!

Hi everyone!
Lately it's been hard to snap a picture of me (maybe because I never stay still for too long), but here are some pictures of me hanging around the house that Mommy did manage to get.

Here's me in my toy basket. I like to empty it out and then sit in it.
Still practicing for the Olympics...
I love my cats! I love to follow them around the house (sometimes while holding on to their tails). I love to pet them. For some reason, Mommy and Daddy keep saying "Gentle!" when I pet them. Lately, I like to show my love by resting my head on their soft fur. Noodle seems to appreciate my attentions, but Calvin tends to stay away.
Just in case my gymnastics career doesn't work out, I've been thinking of becoming a baker. Here I am getting everything organized.

Turner Field

Hi folks!
On Saturday, we went to Turner Field.

It was pretty cool. There was nice green grass and fun seats. I met lots of nice people who were sitting around us.
It was a good thing we had a whole row to ourselves, because I didn't really like sitting down. I ran up and down the row most of the time. But every once in a while, everybody would stand up and clap. That part was fun!
Between the exciting parts, I read a book.

After a while, Mommy must have been tired of watching the grass, so we went to "Tooner Field"- a cartoon place for kids. I liked running around. Then we went home!
Hold the phone! Daddy just informed me there was a game called "baseball" being played on the grass. I saw the guys out there, but I didn't pay much attention to them. The seats were so much more exciting!

My Buddies

Hi everyone!
I've been having a lot of fun playing with my friends, so I wanted you to meet them.

First, here's Baby Owen. He lives right next door, so I get to see him a lot. He's only a baby, so I'm going to have to teach him how to be a big kid. He has his own blog. You should check it out:
http://owenflake.blogspot.com/. He's a pretty good writer for a baby!
Here I am giving him a kiss. I'm sure he didn't mind the slobber.

Here's Owen taking a nap. He must be dreaming about all the fun we have together. Isn't he cute?
Next, here's my buddy Chase. His mommy, Ms. Jen, and my mommy used to teach at the same school. Chase and I have been hanging out since we were just little babies. Now we're both one year old. His birthday was just this week.
Chase is a little bit younger than me, but he's bigger! Now that we're both moving around, I think we're going to have some fun getting into trouble together.
Some of my other friends, the Burns, got a new puppy named Ruby. Since I like to play with all sorts of doors, Ruby's cage was the perfect toy. Maggie and Nate got in with me.

I have some pretty cool friends, but I like to play alone, too. Sometimes, in the afternoons, Mommy fills up the little pool on our deck. I love playing in it. Here I am with some of my pool gear.
Here's a video of me playing in my pool.

One day I dragged the whole pool inside to play in it. I thought it was hilarious, but Mommy was just thankful there was no water in it. I like putting all my toys in it and then throwing them out.
And here's a video of me in a cool hat I got from Mommy's friend, Ms. Megan. Pretty stylish, eh?

I'm going to a baseball game tomorrow, so hopefully I'll have some pictures to share later. Check back soon!
