Gobble Til you Wobble!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

We had a great trip to see Grandpa George in Hamilton. We had Thanksgiving dinner at Uncle Brian's fiancée's family's house. The Stevenses were really nice and I had fun exploring a new house that had tons of glass and antiques. Mommy and Daddy were pretty busy keeping me occupied, so they didn't take any pictures of Thanksgiving.

The next day, we visited with Mommy's friends the Shannons. I helped Daddy do a puzzle. And by "help," I mean "walked, jumped, and stomped on it, but finally left him alone long enough to let him do it."

Mostly, I played with my buddy Ian. We ran around a lot.

And I got in a little tickle time with Ms. Keri.

Back at Grandpa's house (or "Pa's House" as I call it), we had a birthday dinner for Mommy. Uncle Brian and Susan came over to help celebrate.

Before dinner, I fed Grandpa's fish and spent a lot of time getting as close as possible to the fish pond without falling in.

I thought Uncle Brian had a pretty good seat up here.

Susan made sure I didn't fall in the water.

We tried really, really hard to get a picture of the three of us. Seriously, we tried a ton. This is the best one we got. Mommy and Daddy just wouldn't stay still.

On Saturday, we packed up and started our trip home. We stopped in Bath County at Great-Uncle Paul's house (or "Pooh's House", as I called it). Jason was nice enough to bring out some of his old toys for me to play with. I liked dumping out the Legos. They kept me busy for a long time.

Uncle Paul brought out a tin from his shed which he thought contained his childhood blocks. When he opened it, though, he was disappointed to find Daddy's old Construx toys. Daddy was thrilled and brought them home with us to Atlanta. We have plans to build a pretty awesome spaceship.

On Sunday, after playing around in the cold and visiting with Paul and Kim's dog, cats, and horses, we got back in the car and drove home (or "back Quinn's House" as I repeatedly reminded Mommy and Daddy in the car). Traffic was a little bad, but we got back safe and sound without any problems. We had a great time visiting with everybody!

Conversations with a Two-Year-Old

Hi everyone!

Since I last updated you, I've done a lot. I had my first stomach bug. Not fun. I've had a few playdates. Super fun!  I got a haircut. Again, not fun.

The baby's doing a lot, too. He's growing a ton and kicking. I took this picture of Mommy and the baby all by myself!

When we're at home, I spend most of my time playing with my toys. Here's where I keep a lot of them. Sometimes, I actually like putting my toys away. I know exactly where all of them go!

Surprising, I know!

I have a lot to say these days. Here's a video of me talking about a lot of stuff. You might notice that when I say something, I like to have Mommy or Daddy repeat it so I can be sure they're understanding me completely. If they don't, I just keep repeating it over and over and over. And even if they do understand me, I sometimes like to repeat things anyway! Especially if it has to do with Spider-Man!

More Sharks!

Last week, Mommy and I went to the aquarium with Art and his mommy, Lindsey.

Art and I loved pointing out all the big fish.

Apparently the way I pronounce the word "fish" is not exactly correct. It comes out "shi". I guess I have it a little bit backwards (and the "f" sound is really hard), but I don't get why everybody keeps laughing (or looking shocked) when I point out a really cool fish! Luckily I was really into spotting sharks, and that word I can pronounce!

We spent a lot of time in front of the huge tanks.

I had to make sure Art was seeing all the cool stuff I was.

There was a fun play area to crawl through and a big whale slide.

I got my hands in the water at the touch pool.

Ms. Lindsey helped me out with the touch-screen computers that told you about all the fish in the tanks.

Trick or Treat!!

Happy Halloween from Quinn the shark!!

We went trick-or-treating tonight with my friends the Burns.

I really got the hang of trick-or-treating this year. At every house, I would say "Twee Twee" (Trick or Treat!) and then "You!" (for Thank You) and then I would look in my pumpkin and say "Mo Can!" (more candy!).

Here I am in action- if you listen, you can hear me say "Twee Twee!"

I walked some, but when I got tired, Daddy would pull me in the wagon

I was pretty excited to see what everybody got when we came back to the house.

The baby wore a costume, too! He went as a jack-o-lantern this year.

(Don't worry about that band-aid on my head- I did get a boo-boo, but mostly it's there because I love wearing band-aids!)

Busy Days

Hi everyone!
I've been keeping pretty busy around here doing two-year-old stuff.
First, I noticed that the walls needed some fixing. So I got my hammer and my hard hat and took care of business.

Then, I played around in the laundry hamper.

And it fell over.

I like to play catch, but I haven't quite gotten the hang of aiming

I'm getting pretty good at taking pictures with Mommy's camera. Sometimes I actually point the camera at what I want to take a picture of:

On Thursdays, Mommy watches a cool baby named Brocklin. He's a lot of fun to play with. Having him around is good practice for having a little brother, I think. Plus, I get to send him home at the end of the day!

Today I helped Mommy make brownies for my friend.

Pumpkin Patchin'

This weekend, we went to a farm about 30 minutes south of here. We went to find a pumpkin, but they had a ton of other cool stuff there.

They had bunnies...

 
And a play area with a huge bouncy pillow thing. Daddy bounced on it with me. He may have been more excited  than I was.

And an inflatable fun house

They had a pirate ship with a really fast slide.

Mommy and I rode a train through the pumpkin fields.

Then we all took a hayride to the petting zoo. There were mostly goats.

It was a fun morning, but I needed a rest. (And a bath!)

After my nap, Daddy and I made our pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern!
